How We Started

Ryan Silva founded Orchard Lawn & Landscape with nothing more than a mower and a work ethic. At 14 years old, Ryan started mowing lawns in his own Maryland neighborhood of Piney Orchard, earning money the old-fashioned way—one yard at a time. What began as a kid's side hustle grew into something bigger, and in 2021, that grit and dedication became official with the launch of Orchard Lawn & Landscape. What started with just mowing has since grown into a full-service landscaping company, offering everything from landscape enhancements to complete design and installation, built with the same hands on work ethic Ryan started with as a teenager.
